2nd grade Deconstructed Paintings

2nd Grade Pendulum Paintings
Students have been studying and exploring motion. Force, movement, and friction were discussed as we watched patterns being created in paint by our pendulum. Students worked in groups to create these large works of art. (Some photos are in-process, others are finished works of art.)
Club Roar Batiks
Club Roar students have been experimenting with a variety of art techniques. They recently created designs in wax on fabric. The following session we used Easter egg coloring to dye our fabric. The wax was ironed between newsprint and removed. Their designs turning out amazing!
