Club Roar Art Students Were on a Roll!
On Tuesday, Club Roar students from grades kindergarten thru fourth grade created large collaborative artworks. Students worked together rolling plastic balls through paint in a really big box. Students moved the balls back and forth creating crisscrossing patterns as they tilted the box up, down, and side to side. The results were fun and colorful!

2nd grade Chihuly Vessels
2nd graders recently learned about the contemporary artist Dale Chihuly . Chihuly is a world renowned glass artist who creates a wide variety of colorful and stunning artworks. Students created Chihuly inspired vessels from markers, coffee filters, and liquid starch. The final artworks are beautiful!
Kandinsky's Circles Inspire Kindergarteners
The kindergarten students viewed many artworks by Wassily Kandinsky. The bright colors were quite an inspiration. Students created circles using a rainbow of crayon colors. The kindergarteners then finished the artworks with vibrant watercolors.
3rd grade Owls Are Quite A Hoot!
3rd graders recently finished their Black Glue Owl project. For this project, students learned to draw a basic owl design. Each student made many sketches before deciding on a final design. Students traced their drawing in black glue and let it dry completely. Artworks were brought to life with watercolors.
